Oral Health Therapist

Oral Health Therapists are trained in dental hygiene and dental therapy, and are part of a team who work with dentists to manage the oral health of patients.

Oral Health Therapists examine dental decay and gum disease and provide routine dental treatments such as teeth cleaning, polishing, teeth extraction and treatment for patients, under the prescription of dentists. They are also trained to do tooth extractions and fillings for children 18 years and younger. Oral health therapists also help patients to improve the oral hygiene of patients before they receive complex and/or specialist treatment.

How to become an Oral Health Therapist?

To practise as an Oral Health Therapist, you will require a Diploma in Oral Health Therapy.

All our Oral Health Therapists are registered with the Singapore Dental Council (SDC).
