Our NUHS academic institutions also collaborate with schools beyond NUHS, empowering Singapore’s future healthcare professionals through Pre-Employment Clinical Training (PECT), which is a critical component for students enrolled in tertiary institutions as part of the healthcare professional training programmes offered by the local schools. Through teaching and supervision by senior healthcare professionals in the clinical training institutions, students acquire and practise the requisite clinical skills to work competently and safely as healthcare professionals.
With support from the Ministry of Health (MOH), the NUHS Education Office works closely with these educational institutions in nurturing future-ready students through the following healthcare professional training programmes.
