NUHS Regional Health System

The NUHS Regional Health System (RHS) brings together NUHS institutions, community health and social care partners, to develop and implement initiatives that improve population health, promote preventive health and enhance overall well-being.

Together, we strive to build a healthy and engaged population in the West, empowered to live well and age well in their home and in the community.

Another key focus of the RHS is on delivering integrated, seamless care to residents across the care continuum - from primary care to acute care, to intermediate and long-term care - by integrating and anchoring care in the community.

Leveraging our position as an Academic Health System, we draw upon education and research to improve affordability and sustainability of care, as well as develop new capabilities.

We are committed in enriching your health and well-being and building a healthy community, with you and for you!

The Western region also comprises more than 100 community healthcare providers and social care agencies. Through collaborations with our partners, we facilitate the integration and transition of care services between the hospital and community to provide care in the most appropriate setting for the patients and their caretakers.
