Launch Ceremony of the International Allied Health Conference 2024 and Global Allied Health Network
Plenary Session at International Allied Health Conference 2024
The International Allied Health Conference 2024 (IAHC 2024) made its debut in Singapore, where over 1,100 Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) and industry partners gathered at the Singapore EXPO from 1 to 2 November 2024 for this highly anticipated event.

Held in conjunction with the 3rd Singapore Allied Health Conference, IAHC 2024, themed "Advancing Allied Health: Diverse in Calling, United in Purpose", featured over 92 international and local invited speakers with insightful presentations across 18 symposia, 14 free paper and 3 scientific competition sessions. Topics spanned the healthcare continuum, including Primary Care and Population Health, Acute and Tertiary Care, Community and Long-Term Care,  and Diagnostics, as well as across professional themes such as Education, Leadership and Transformation and Innovation and Technology. The event also featured more than 100 free papers, and over 150 poster presentations, which were delivered across 14 tracks.

IAHC 2024 was officially launched by Mr Masagos Zulkifli, Minister for Social and Family Development and Second Minister for Health; along with allied health leaders from the National University Health System (NUHS), Singapore Health Services (SingHealth), National Healthcare Group (NHG), and the Global Allied Health Network (GAHN).

Over the two-day conference, delegates from over 18 countries engaged in dynamic discussions at the plenaries and breakout sessions. Post-conference, they also participated in various masterclasses, workshops and clinical visits to facilities across Singapore’s three public healthcare clusters.

The event also marked the first in-person summit of the GAHN. Over 11 Allied Health Leaders from across 9 countries and jurisdictions came together to build, strengthen, and renew collaborations in the global Allied Health leadership community - to address workforce challenges and opportunities, and develop a position paper underscoring the global contributions of AHPs.
