NUHS provides Honorary Clinical Fellowship and Observership as well as Hands-Off Observership for clinicians who are interested to gain exposure in the western region of Singapore’s healthcare industry. These schemes are available at National University Hospital (NUH) and Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH).

Honorary Clinical Fellowship and Observership

The Honorary Clinical Fellowship and Observership schemes are for foreign doctors who are interested to gain exposure in the Singapore healthcare industry, to develop and strengthen the regional referral network, and to learn specific clinical skills. These schemes provide clinical training in various specialties.

Hands-Off Observership

The observer status is accorded to foreign doctors for attachment to a clinical department to observe a specific skill with no hands-on experience or any financial commitment.
