Breast lumps are often described as a mass, swelling, thickness or fullness. Breast lumps are common and most are benign. There are many types of benign breast lumps. The most common are cysts and fibroadenomas. However, some lumps can be cancerous. Please consult your doctor if you encounter any new breast lumps.
