Biosketch

Dr Eng graduated from St Bartholomew, School of Medicine and Dentistry and received her postgraduate training in the Imperial College London (UK). During her time in Imperial, she obtained her PhD, specialising in the study of reproductive endocrinology. Her PhD works involved investigating the translational potential of a hypothalamic peptide, kisspeptin in men and women with reproductive disorders.

Dr Eng currently work in Singapore and have taken a keen interest in women's health in particular women with metabolic disease such as gestational diabetes. Her other interest is in steroid weaning and in investigating the rate of adrenal recovery following prolonged glucocorticoid adminstration. From a clinical perspective, she provide care for men and women with diabetes and endocrine disorders, in particular  metabolic diseases affecting women's health.
