Dr. Wang is presently the Executive Director of the National University Centre for Oral Health, Singapore (NUCOHS); Senior Consultant in the Division of Prosthodontics, NUCOHS; and Assistant Professor at the NUS Faculty of Dentistry. Prior to her current role, Dr. Wang held the position of Director of National University Polyclinics (NUP) Dental Services from 2018 to 2024.
Dr. Wang has extensive experience in clinical practice, academia, and healthcare administration. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from King's College, University of London, and subsequently obtained Master's degrees in Conservative Dentistry and Prosthodontics from the Eastman Dental Hospital, University College London. Her specialization was enhanced with a Certificate in Advanced Implant Dentistry from New York University.
Dr. Wang's clinical focus encompasses prosthodontics, implant dentistry, and conservative management of tooth surface loss. Her proficiency in these areas has significantly contributed to patient care and dental education.
Dr. Wang has been instrumental in implementing several healthcare initiatives. These include launching the Next Generation Electronic Medical Record for NUP Dental Service, expanding NUP Dental Services, and establishing a cluster-level dental service plan and clinical care pathway at NUCOHS.
Her commitment to education is evident through her multiple teaching accolades, including the NUHS Innovation and Creativity in Educator Award and Faculty Teaching Awards from the NUS Faculty of Dentistry. Dr. Wang actively contributes to shaping dental education, policy, and practice in Singapore through her involvement in national-level committees and professional societies.
