Biosketch

Born and raised in Minnesota, USA, Dr Matthew D'Costa completed his Doctor of Medicine at Ross University School of Medicine in 2011, and Internal Medicine specialty training at Marshfield Clinic in Wisconsin, USA, in 2015. Thereafter, he worked for one year as an Internal Medicine physician specialising in Hospital Medicine. He also completed the Renal Medicine training with further subspeciality training in Kidney and Pancreas Transplantation at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, USA in 2019. He worked as an Associate Consultant from 2019 to 2020 at Mayo Clinic in the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension.

Dr Matthew D'Costa has special clinical and research interests in nephrolithiasis, living kidney donation, kidney donors with nephrolithiasis, medical education, patient education, and quality improvement.
