Dr Jong is a Rehabilitation Medicine Consultant at the National University Hospital, Alexandra Hospital and Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. She graduated from National University of Malaysia (UKM) and was awarded Gold Medalist in 2012. She obtained her Membership of the Royal College of Physician (United Kingdom) in 2018 and Graduated Diploma of Sports Medicine (Singapore) in 2019. She completed her Rehabilitation Medicine training in 2020.
In addition to Rehabilitation Medicine, Dr Jong's other specialty interests includes sports medicine, musculoskeletal related diseases and cancer rehabilitation.
Currently, she is Singapore National Para Swimming Medical Classifiers and holds the appointment of Vice Chair with the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ISPRM) - World Youth Forum.
