Professor Young has extensive experience in educating and training medical students, residents, general practitioners, and other health professionals in adolescent medicine, general practice, and primary care research. Her research focuses on trialling innovative models of care in the primary care setting to improve health outcomes for people with chronic diseases, particularly diabetes mellitus.
