Dr Beatrix Wong completed her undergraduate training in Melbourne and graduated with an Honours. She subsequently obtained her postgraduate qualification from both the Royal College of Physicians, United Kingdom and NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Singapore. She is currently a Fellow in the Academy of Medicine Singapore. Her main specialty is in Geriatric Medicine with special interest in cognition, falls and orthogeriatrics.
She strongly believes in helping older adults age in place and enjoy their golden years. This is achieved by good preventive, holistic and well-coordinated care. Her clinical and research interests are centred around this and includes work in falls prevention, frailty and nutrition.
Dr Wong is also committed to both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and is regularly involved in the education of undergraduate students and the NUHS Senior Residency Program for Geriatric Medicine.
