On 20th March 2024, the Inaugural National University Spine Institute (NUSI) Fellows Best Practice & Research Conference brought together international participants and our past spine fellows to share their best practices, exchange and develop ideas, foster innovation in clinical practice and research of the spine.
The establishment of the NUSI Fellows chapter under the National University Hospital Global Fellows Alliance (GFA) typifies the significant benefits of a specialty-based alumni network in healthcare, particularly in fostering specialty collaboration.
This focused network facilitates the sharing of targeted spine care expertise while also benefiting from the broader range of knowledge and experiences within the GFA. Being part of the GFA, the NUSI can leverage on the cross-cultural and interdisciplinary insights from other specialties and professional development opportunities, enabling GFA members to stay at the forefront of their field through regular updates and global interactions.
