Our teeth are important for chewing and speech, and they play an important role in a person’s appearance. As we use our teeth daily, they are subjected to wear and tear, dental decay, and gum diseases. Uncontrolled dental diseases have been implicated in medical conditions such as diabetes mellitus and cardiovascular diseases. This talk will provide an overview of the impact of oral health on the ageing population and offer tips on dental diseases prevention.
