The Education Office works closely with the educational institutions to facilitate Pre-Employment Clinical Training (PECT) for the following Allied Health disciplines:

Diagnostic Radiography

Radiographers perform general radiography to produce high quality diagnostic images. They can specialize in areas of magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography or angiography. SIT
2 Radiation Therapy Radiation Therapists are responsible for performing the accurate delivery of prescribed radiation therapy with regards to patient care, clinical responsibility and radiation safety. SIT
3 Physiotherapy Physiotherapists develop, maintain and restore patients’ optimum movement and functional abilities. SIT
4 Occupational Therapy Occupational Therapists assist patients by utilizing treatments that develop, recover or maintain their abilities to perform activities of daily living. SIT
5 Dental Hygiene & Therapy Oral Health Therapists provide basic dental services and preventive care. NYP
6 Speech Therapy Speech Therapists diagnose and treat patients with a wide range of speech, communication and swallowing disorders. NUS
7 Pharmacy Pharmacists provide pharmacy services which aims to reduce adverse drug effects and optimise medication therapy for patients. NUS
8 Cardiac Technology Cardiovascular technologists assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac (heart) and peripheral vascular (blood vessel) ailments. SP
9 Psychology (Clinical) Psychologists perform specialized psychometric assessments with competence and take on cases with multiple complexities for psychological therapy. NUS
