Dr Lynette Teo graduated from the University of Aberdeen and returned to Singapore for her postgraduate training. She was admitted as a Fellow to the Royal College of Radiologists, UK in 2003 and obtained the Masters of Medicine (Diagnostic Radiology) from the National University of Singapore in the same year. Her specialist accreditation was obtained in 2005 and she was subsequently admitted to the College of Radiologists, Academy of Medicine of Singapore.

Dr Teo’s clinical interest is in the areas of congenital heart and interstitial lung diseases. She received the Healthcare Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) fellowship in 2006 to sub-specialise in cardiothoracic imaging at the Royal Brompton Hospital (Imperial College) which is the National Heart and Lung Institute in the United Kingdom.

Since her return, she has helped to support and improve the cardiovascular imaging service as well as start new services such as magnetic resonance myocardial perfusion imaging. She also helps to oversee the computed tomography section.  Her research interests include cardiovascular magnetic resonance in congenital heart disease and colorectal imaging.

In education, she is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education and is currently the Program Director for the residency program in diagnostic radiology. She also sits on several committees in the radiology fraternity.
